The two videos below were copied and translated from TV Tem, of Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. Apparently TV Tem was fortunate enough to have a full reporter team on site to report on the attempted rescue of a salesman from a women's boutique. The salesman had been trapped by a bull that had managed to open the door with its head and enter the store. The bull had fled the scene of a vehicle accident carrying several bulls.

Despite the gravity of the accident (the driver, Florisvaldo Pedrette, 69 years old, succumbed to his injuries and died the same night,) the attempt to recapture the escaped animals became the joke of the city - this bull that took shelter in a women's clothes shop has become somewhat of a celebrity after its attempted recapture was captured on video and picked up by News agencies world wide. The owner of the women's clothes shop was last reported to be negotiating with the farmer who owns the bull to sell it to her. She intends to turn it into a marketing tool.

TV Tem first reported the story on its site at http://tn.temmais.com/noticia/9/44031/depois_de_acidente_boi_invade_loja_de_roupas_em_rio_preto.htm. However, the videos used for the YouTube posting related to this video were copies of videos posted on YouTube by Brazilians, with a little editting done to increase the entertainment value of the News item. The introductory music to both videos was the theme music used by Australian Broadcasting Corportaion (ABC News) between 2005 and 2010. Both pieces of music were composed by Martin Armiger, with John Gray assisting on the theme music in the first video. Website info for ABC is also provided below.

About The Videos:Before writing out TV Tem's contact information in English, for the benefit of those who are visiting this site by way of reference and have not watched the videos, these videos refer to a story of a bull that fled an accident site of a truck carrying cattle, and decided to take shelter in a women's clothes store, trapping a salesman inside. In the first video, the TV Tem New's crew were fortunate enough to be at the scene and record the action as it took place. They captured a dramatic moment of the bull shattering the glass door in an attempt to escape the shop(it had been trapped by a self-closing door), but a skillful labourer lassoed the bull on his very first attempt. The second video is a series of interviews with the heros(what was going through their minds, etc), the salesman and bull's owner. Apparently the employer of the salesman wants to spare the bull from the slaughter house, and if offering to purchase it. The reporter doing the interviews displays a good sense of humour.
